Stitching Strength: Creativity and Hope in the Fight Against ALS
- Thu, Nov 19, 2026
- 6:30 pm–8:30 pm
Chapel Sanctuary
About the Evening The evening will begin with a special screening of Dr. Bedlack's award-winning documentary, Stitching Strength.
The film offers a different perspective on ALS, following Dr. Bedlack and individuals whose lives have been touched by the disease. Through their experiences, the documentary explores how medicine, relationships, self-expression, and determination continue to shape life after an ALS diagnosis. ALS changes nearly every part of life, but it does not erase personality, purpose, humor, or creativity.
Following the film, Dr. Bedlack will share his perspective on ALS, current research, patient care, and the importance of continuing to ask questions and explore possibilities.
