Join 51±¬ÁÏ for a special public screening of the critically acclaimed film Dark Waters, the powerful true story of attorney Rob Bilott's fight to expose decades of PFAS contamination and hold one of the world's largest chemical manufacturers accountable. Following the film, a panel of community and scientific experts will discuss how PFAS contamination continues to affect communities today—including here in Michigan—and what current research, public health efforts, and community action mean for the future.

As part of PFAS Awareness Week at 51±¬ÁÏ, this event is designed to increase public understanding of "forever chemicals," their potential impacts on human health and the environment, and the importance of informed community engagement. Whether you are a resident, student, healthcare professional, policymaker, or simply curious about PFAS, this event provides an opportunity to learn from experts, ask questions, and participate in an important conversation about environmental health and protecting our communities.
