Engineering Seminar with Visiting Artist Jerome Tryon
- Wed, Nov 04, 2026
- 4:00 pm–5:00 pm
Center Art Gallery
As an architectural critic at the Yale School of Architecture, designer, and artist, Tryon's practice of spatial inquiry examines how memory shapes perception and architectural space. Through projects spanning drawings, architectural objects, and sculpted frames, he invites viewers to explore his steel-built environment to learn more about the relationship between image, space, and memory. Examine the intersecting world of art and engineering solutions with Tryon at the November 4 Engineering Seminar from 4-5pm at the Center Art Gallery.
Explore the exhibition, and engage with the creative process of an artist and architect whose work bridges disciplines. This seminar is open to all, not just engineering majors.
Can't make it to the engineering seminar? Jerome Tryon's exhibition runs August 27 - November 6, 2026.
